“We need an interactive, dynamic webpage to garner interest from union leaders and members...”

Union Keyz’s mission is to strengthen the connection between union locals and their members. Their method involves using a unique landing page that acts as a centralized hub for each union local. The hub contains links to the special deals & discounts provided by Union Keyz, as well as important news and pages that are provided by union local sites, but are often difficult to access due to navigational issues.

Union Keyz asked me to enhance their site, making it more interactive, dynamic, and attractive as they seek to gather more users for their product.

  • An attention-grabbing popup to communicated critical announcements to members.

  • Interactive animations to enhance user engagement and improve the overall browsing experience.

  • Visual cues and incentives that encourage users to take specific actions, such as verifying their membership.

We worked together to clarify goals, brainstorm features, identify constraints, and explore possibilities to come up with a solution that aligned with what the company envisioned.

Union Keyz provides members with a physical key containing a QR code on the back that links to the landing page.

The company asked me to create proofs for the keys for them to send to the manufacturer. They provided me with some details, and we effectively communicated and iterated to come up with the final product that met their specifications.

We've laid the groundwork by setting up robust templates—now, ongoing support and content updates can be handled efficiently and with ease. To continue improving the product, we gather user feedback and monitor interactions to identify opportunities for optimization. Based on the insights we collect, our next steps may include:

Improve site layout and animations

Ensures that union members are able to easily identify and access their resources and benefits.

Improve proof designs

Gather feedback from union members regarding their design preferences to design keys that THEY would love to show off!

Site Chatbot

A chatbot may be a smart implementation to quickly answer member questions
